Rheological properties of nontumbling nematics (α3/α2 ≳ 0, in which α2 and α3 denote Leslie viscosities) under oscillating shear flow are considered theoretically. It is shown that a domain structure should appear in the system provided that the amplitude A0 of the shear is high enough. The characteristic domain size is proportional to A0−1/4.
