Advances in Micro/Nano Fluid Flows: In Memory of Prof. Jason Reese

The study of non-intuitive behaviors in gas and liquid flow at the micro/nano scale has assisted engineers in developing a diverse range of technologies, from lab-on-a-chip devices to water filtration systems. Among leading researchers in the field, the late Prof Jason Reese made profound contributions by creating new concepts, methodologies, designs, and simulation tools. His leadership and support of young researchers will always be remembered. This special issue reflects on past development, report current knowledge, and illuminate the future of fluid flows at the micro/nano scale.
