Flow and the Virus
While the new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) menaces our world with its transmission, and while those infected battle their COVID-19 symptoms, the fluid dynamics community continues its remarkable work productively. Day by day, this community is responding by deepening our understanding of the fluid facets of the ways the new coronavirus spreads, infects, behaves in suspension, or how its fascinating particle design confers its flow properties, or how this design might suggest drug or vaccine development. We devote this special collection to the fascinating fluid dynamics behind the new coronavirus.
