China to finance construction of two nuclear plants in Argentina Free

17 November 2015
World Nuclear News: On Sunday Argentina and China signed agreements to build two nuclear power plants in the South American country. The cost will be about $15 billion, with China contributing 85% of the financing in the form of loans and investment. This is not the first time China has invested in Argentinean infrastructure projects, which have included dams and railways. Argentina has three other reactors; once finished, the two new plants will roughly double its nuclear power capacity.
