Press: The pioneering Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe died on
24 October 1601 11 days after attending a banquet in Prague.
The cause of death, usually attributed to a bladder infection,
is in doubt. Some people claim Brahe was poisoned with mercury.
To settle the matter, an international team has exhumed Brahe's
body and will conduct an autopsy that will include
sophisticated x-ray scanning and neutron activation analysis.
The results are expected sometime next year.
