Free Press: Stephen Hawking arrived yesterday at his new
workplace, the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in
Waterloo, Ontario. The province's premier, Dalton McGuinty,
welcomed him. Hawking retired last year from his previous
position as Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge
University. His successor in Cambridge is string theorist
Michael Green.
