Music of the Quantum began life as a chamber piece, written by Jaz Coleman and commissioned by the multicampus Institute of Complex and Adaptive Matter. The piece, which received its debut in 2003, aimed to reflect the richness of quantum phenomena in condensed matter. A website devoted to those same themes is now available and includes filmed interviews with eminent condensed matter physicists.
The aim of Science in School, a new quarterly journal, is to inspire science teachers to inspire students. Articles cover science itself, along with teaching practice and education research.
