This month, Fermilab and SLAC launch Symmetry, a merger of the two Department of Energy labs’ long-standing publications, FermiNews and Beam Line. Symmetry is designed to enhance dialogue between the particle physics community and the science policy community, says editor David Harris. The 32-page publication will come out 10 times a year; the first issue includes articles on the effects of internationalization of particle physics and on neutrino experiments under ice and water.
