A possible violation of Bjorken scaling, which had worked extremely well for electron–proton scattering in the 10–20‐GeV range, has been reported for a muon–proton scattering experiment at the National Accelerator Laboratory, for 150‐GeV muons. In an invited paper at the APS Chicago meeting in February, K. Wendell Chen (Michigan State University) stressed that the results are still extremely preliminary. The principal investigators are Chen, Louis Hand (Cornell University) and Wayne Vernon (University of California at San Diego).
