Postdoctoral resident research associateships, administered by the National Academy of Sciences and the National Research Council, offers advanced training at various government laboratories and research centers. The program provides a $10 250 stipend, and is open to US citizens who hold the PhD or ScD or who are completing degree requirements this year. Laboratories participating in the program include David Taylor Model Basin, National Bureau of Standards, Naval Ordnance and Naval Research Laboratories. Deadline for receipt of applications for 1966–67 is Feb. 15, 1966, and awards will be announced by participating agencies about April 1.
