Six more universities have been selected by the National Science Foundation to receive grants ranging from $2.3 to $4.2 million under the Foundation's Science Development Program. Designed to “help a limited number of already good institutions move forward rapidly…” in their science activities, the Program has been allocated an additional $40 million in the $480 million NSF budget for fiscal 1966, recently approved by Congress.
