New building

Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Mich., has built a $2.7‐million structure to house its Departments of Mathematics and Physics and the graphics laboratories of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Known as Fisher Hall, the building has been named for the late James Fisher, who was associated with Michigan Tech as student, teacher, administrator, and alumni worker for some seventy years. Fisher Hall consists of a north wing with four floors and a south wing consisting of three lecture halls with a combined capacity of about 900 students.
