The Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics is offering some ten visiting fellowships for 1966–67. Awards are based on applicants' fields of scientific interest and achievements with no citizenship or national‐origin restriction. Recipients may engage in research of their own choosing in laboratory astrophysics, and there are no set duties or obligations. Visiting fellows have faculty appointments at the University of Colorado. Stipends normally equal recipients' academic salaries adjusted to a twelve‐month basis. For those from industry or abroad stipends will be matched to salaries offered for equivalent academic positions in the United States. Besides the stipend, round‐trip transportation costs will be provided for recipients and their families, and an additional $400 will be available for professional travel in the US. Closing date for applications is January 15; awards will be announced February 15.
