Early next year, Britain's Institute of Physics and Physical Society will begin publishing a monthly Journal of Physics Education devoted to new trends, techniques, and syllabus revisions in physics teaching. Though primarily for teachers of Britain's sixth form (final high school year), IPPS hopes the journal will also be of some value to instructors in universities and colleges. Additional topics proposed for the new journal include teaching apparatus, with test reports on commercial equipment, interpretation of subject matter in relation to syllabuses, short articles on new topics, physics in relation to other disciplines, brain teasers, and book and film‐strip reviews.
