The Health Physics Society has presented its Elda E. Anderson Award to J. A. Auxier of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory for his outstanding research in radiation dosimetry. The award was made during the Society's annual meeting in New York City in June. A past president of the East Tennessee Chapter of the Health Physics Society, he is an editor of Health Physics, the Society's journal, and is currently in charge of experiments at ORNL's recently installed health physics research reactor.
