Bruno H. Zimm of the University of California School of Science and Engineering at La Jolla has been designated by the Council of the American Physical Society as winner of the Society's 1963 High‐Polymer Physics Prize sponsored by the Ford Motor Company. The $1000 Prize was presented to Dr. Zimm at the St. Louis meeting of the Society on March 26 for his contribution “toward a rigorous understanding of the light‐scattering, thermodynamic, and viscoelastic properties of polymer solutions, and of the macromolecular behavior of biological materials”.
