For the benefit of those planning world‐wide studies of cosmic‐radiation phenomena, some of the research facilities in the Far East and in South and East Africa are described in this note. This listing is not complete, since, for example, it does not include the several installations in India, nor the Australia‐New Zealand ones, nor the monitor at Lae, New Guinea, nor one reputed to be in Madagascar
