Chang‐Ning Chou, a physicist with Argonne National Laboratory, was killed October 16 in an automobile accident. His age was 43. A native of Formosa, he came to the United States in 1951 to fulfill a US State Department research fellowship at The University of Chicago. He stayed on as a member of the faculty of the University until 1955, then taught for two years at Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Chou joined Argonne's staff in June 1957, and was assigned to the Electronics Division. He was living in Naperville, Ill., and his wife and daughter were in Taipai, Taiwan. He was a member of the American Physical Society.
