This article concludes a digital controlled laser process system which is used to produce paper packing carton and explains the theory and system structure. The main function is that computer controls the laser to produce the packing carton directly, including cutting, creasing, marking words and pictures. The producing process doesn’t need the die any more. This technology with many advantages is praised as a revolution in packing industry. This article introduces the software and hardware design of the laser die-cutting system, the test result and the elementary outcome. And it gives the development direction for the future research.
