Laser product approvals in the European Union

As most manufacturers who import into Europe are aware, the laws regulating sale and import into Europe are changing constantly. A majority of the laws, commonly referred to as “Directives”, have eased the process of import into the European Union (EU). Until recently, this was the case with a majority of Electrical products. However, recently proposed changes in EU law will drastically change what procedure manufacturers will need to follow in order to import into the EU.
