At present, the blue light hazard of LED light source is an important topic. IEC62471/CIE S 009 defined the limits requirement and classification method. Generally, for the measurement of radiance of retinal hazard, it needs professional radiation measuring equipment. However, for the white light source for general lighting, in order to meet the requirements of lighting product specifications the blue light is always an important component for the adjustment of color temperature. In the paper, the relationship between BLH radiation and photopic luminance of tungsten light source, fluorescent lamp, two LED light source is analyzed, and the evaluation methods of blue light hazards based on luminance is introduced.
