AOESC has developed a unique Photolytic Iodine Laser System (PILS). The laser has been in development since 1994 and is now undergoing the commercialization phase. The prototype has been operational for over 18 months and materials processing has been successfully demonstrated. The technology includes five different lasers with mostly common parts including general purpose 150 W CW, pulsed electronics, high power general purpose CW, pulsed general purpose, and pulsed (visible and UV radiation output) models.
