We developed “High Power LASER Welding process for pipe”. It is a unique and the most productivity weld pipe making process by 25kW CO2 laser combining high frequency induction preheating. laser beam is the high power density energy source, so laser welding is known as the most productivity method in the welding method. Using He gas shield to avoid growing plasma,We can control 25kW high power CO2 laser welding and can reach 5 times as fast as 5kW CO2 laser welding. And effect of combining high frequency induction preheating,we get more productivity welding method than 25kW laser welding without combining it. This paper will discuss about effect of combining high frequency induction preheating. And will also discuss about characteristics of its products, carbon steel pipes and stainless steel pipes.
