Solidiform Inc is a woman-owned small business (30 employees) located in Fort Worth, Texas. Solidiform specializes in the manufacture of aluminum castings using the investment or lost wax process as well as the precision chemical set sand method. Historically, our markets have been predominantly aerospace with the majority of our customers engaged in military programs. We also operate in the capacity of a prime contractor in the direct government spares arena where we are responsible for producing an end item which in most cases involves the manufacture of the casting, the incorporation of secondary machine features, application of finishing requirements and the assembly and installation of any hardware items, such as bearings, fasteners, nutplates, etc. Prior to government acceptance, the items are packaged and bar coded for domestic or foreign military destinations. Solidiform has developed a broad range of capabilities and we feel that it has been because of our diverse manufacturing experience that we have been able to recognize, and to some degree capitalize on, some of the emerging opportunities in the Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing (RP&M) marketplace.
