Due to the secondary radiation emitting of the interaction zone during laser material processing, it is possible to evaluate the processing result.

When carrying out industrial applications, it is necessary to detect the process radiation independent of workpiece geometry and characteristics of the handling system. The application of the diagnostic methods and devices presented in this paper enables to detect the process in all laser processing procedures. The presented components and devices can be integrated into rather any processing unit.
