This paper presents surface finishing of metal mirrors for High-Power CO2 Laser Systems. A diamond turning machine has been developed to make copper mirrors. The machined mirrors have high contour accuracy and excellent surface roughness. Mechano-Chemical polishing of molybdenum and tungsten, and the optical properties of the surface are also discussed.
