R&D of laser application technology is one of the main themes in national program, named “Flexible Manufacturing System Complex Provided with Laser (FMSC with Laser)”. This paper deals with the out-line of long term R&D program, development of laser oscillators, laser processing technologies, optics and construction of laser processing subsystem in Tsuduba FMSC test plant.
