This paper deals with the concept of the future manufacturing system which is a kind of an ideal system based on the flexibile capability of lasers to produce various types machine components in a small batch. The system was discussed with the objects of shortening of process, economization of man hour, dealing with variance of work materials and precise machining from not an economical point of view but from a technical point of view. A multiplicative production form which processing, inspection or measurement and assembly are closely integrated was proposed. Laser process for a Stirling engine manufacturing as a model product was discussed with the system.
