The principles of holographic scanning will be discussed and basic concepts will be reviewed. Techniques for minimizing aberrations, minimizing scan line bow and multiplying scan angle will be examined. Other topics to be discussed include: recording media, manufacturing and copying methods, performance analysis and applications.
