In this paper, we report marking of plastic materials by a 1.5 µm high peak-power single-mode nanosecond pulse fiber laser that has kW-level peak-power and about 100 mW average power. The plastic materials are mainly printed on the surface. However, there is a imprint disappears problem by friction. Therefore, we try internal marking of plastic materials that is a polycarbonate and a polyethylene terephthalate using the nanosecond pulse fiber laser. Output pulse beams are focused to the internal of plastic materials. As a result, we achieved marking of the internal of plastic materials and marking line width under 100 µm.
