We investigated CO₂ laser cutting of flexible glass substrates using water cooling jets. We found thelaser beam length and width only slightly affected the laser cutting speed. We attribute the weak dependence to the rapid thermal homogenizing process in flexible glass. This paper discusses the optimallaser cutting process window.
