In this research, three PS-based polymer powders were selected as the sintering materials in AFS-320 machine. By using the method of orthogonal experiment, the effect of process parameters (such as preheating temperature, laser power, slicing thickness, scanning speed and etc) on sintering capability and prototyping quality was studied. And the optimum parameters of all materials were obtained. The tensile strengths of specimens were also measured. In addition, sintering capability, prototyping quality, advantages and disadvantages and applications of three polymer powders were compared with each other. The results can be the reference of selecting the SLS polymer powders reasonably.
