In this report, laser milling of glass with a Nd:YAG pulsed laser were studied systematically. The effects of different processing parameters on the milling depth and the milled surface quality were discussed, and the optimized processing parameters were obtained. The experimental results demonstrated that it is possible to mill glass quickly with a high speed and avoid generating cracks on milled glass surface successfully by the use of the optimized laser parameters.
