This article presents our new results of YAG welding for aerospace components. First, we expose the interest of YAG welding for complex components of engines. The challenges concerning the robotized YAG welding and the requirements concerning the quality of the joint are evidenced. Then the study is emphasized on Inco 718 parts of 3mm to 7mm thickness. Finally, we show the robotization of the process and the welding of airfoils.
