Professor Gensheng Li is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a technical expert in the field of oil and gas drilling and completion engineering in China. He has made an important contribution to promoting the theoretical development and technical progress of China's oil and gas drilling and completion engineering, especially deep well drilling and low permeability completion stimulation. He led the team to innovate and develop the theory of cavitating jet under deep well confining pressure, and successfully developed the technology of self-vibrating cavitating jet to improve the penetration rate of deep well. He successfully used the cavitating jet to improve the penetration rate of deep well drilling in the world. At the same time, the theory and method of cavitating jet under confining pressure are applied to the well completion and stimulation of oil and gas fields. The technology of rotating jet treatment for formation stimulation provides an advanced and effective technical means for stable production, stimulation and efficient development of oil and gas fields. He leads research level in this field into the advanced ranks worldwide. He is now director of State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Resources and Exploration of China, and committee member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, division of Fluid Engineering. He is invited as a senior Affiliate Scientist in The University of Utah. He is honoured for China Science and Technology Award for five times, and provincial awards for over ten times. He published 4 monographs and more than 200 journal publications.

He has been engaged in the study of ethylene catalytic cracking, coal chemical gasifier, black water, ash water and other devices.

Timon Rabczuk is Full Professor of Bauhaus University Weimar, Germany. The research focus of Prof. Rabczuk is Computational Mechanics (Computational Solid Mechanics and Computational Fluid-Structure-Interaction) with focus on numerical methods for the solution of partial differential equations. He is a member of the Academia Europaea and a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. He has been listed as ISI-Highly Cited Researcher in the categories 'Computer Science' and 'Engineering'.

Zhu Zuchao, the director of the Fluid Transport Technology Laboratory at Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, China. He is a board member of the Fluid Engineering Society of the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics and the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. He has been engaged in research, development, and engineering applications of fluid transport technology, fluid equipment, and control technology. Particularly, he has significant achievements in the research of multi-fluid transport technology and process pumps and valves. Recently, his technological developments contributed to the success of the Zhuque II, the world's first liquid oxygen methane rocket to achieve orbit, filling several technological gaps in Chinese domestic liquid oxygen methane liquid rocketry. He has won second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, first prize and second prizes of provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress many times. He published more than 200 SCI papers, 8 monographs, and owned more than 30 invention patents.
