2021 Biophysics and Bioengineering
Biophysics and Bioengineering covers a diverse range of problems involving huge length scales such as understanding of the molecular structures (e.g. protein folding), designing multicomponent bio-functional materials, spread of infectious diseases (i.e. on-going COVID-19 pandemic) etc. The broad spectrum of issues and tools (experimental, theoretical, and computational) are involved in such investigations some of which are published in AIP Advances along with articles from a variety of sub-disciplines of traditional physics. This collection addresses some interesting issues such as designing of materials applicable in tissue engineering, DNA biosensor, microfluidic probes, immune sensors in response to SARS-CoV-2), etc. which may be useful to researchers in these and related areas.
