Multicalorics II
Multicalorics combines magnetocaloric, electrocaloric, and mechanocaloric effects, and induces thermal changes driven simultaneously or sequentially by external stimulus. Multicaloric materials and devices are promising candidates for solid-state cooling technologies that are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. This Special Topic will provide scientists and engineers a common forum for sharing important advances in the synthesis, characterization, and application of multicaloric materials, together with theory, computational methods, and experimental methods. This will not only contribute to the current understanding of the relevant phenomena and their practical application and implementation, but also stimulate future research and cross-fertilization.
