Physical Acoustics Technical Committee Student Paper Competition Winners Physical – 179th Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America – Acoustics Virtually Everywhere – 7-11 December 2020

The Physical Acoustics Technical Committee (PATC) Student Paper Competition is based upon written, corresponding PATC Best Papers submitted to Proceedings of Meetings on Acoustics (POMA). These corresponding manuscripts are judged by a committee post ASA Meeting based on technical content, writing quality, and overall excellence. The paper judging takes place concurrently with the ordinary editorial review of a POMA submission; each judged paper is returned with comments and a publication decision. The PATC offers a monetary reward to the winner(s) and all papers are highlighted on social media, in POMA email campaigns, and ultimately archived prominently in the POMA Collections.
