Plasmonics and Solid State Plasmas
Plasmonics, the study of the interaction of electromagnetic radiation with electrons in solids, is a field that has developed fast since the 1980s and is still growing steadily. This special collection helps to bridge the methods of traditional plasma physics to the related applications in plasmonic research and encourages plasma physicists to have a closer look into this burgeoning research field.
