Paint and Coating Physics

Paints and coatings are ubiquitous, with wide-ranging applications. The manufacture and storage of paints, their application on a substrate, and film formation all involve fluid flow whose understanding and control are important for achieving the desired finish. This special topic aims to present developments in advanced computational models, experiments, and analysis related to the various stages of paint formulation and application. The topics include everything of or related to the physics of paints and coatings.
