The 10th National Congress on Fluid Mechanics of China was held in Hangzhou on October 25-28, 2018. The congress covers important directions in fluid mechanics including multiphase flow, non-Newtonian fluid mechanics, flow in porous media, turbulence, microfluidics, and computational fluid dynamics. This special issue features selected papers from the congress.
