Special issue on the 110th birthday of Alexander Davydov

This issue commemorates scientific legacy of the outstanding scientist, physicist, theoretician Alexander Davydov (December 26, 1912 – February 19, 1993), whose achievements in many areas of theoretical physics and revolutionary approach to biological systems from the point of view of quantum mechanics and physics of nonlinear systems are widely recognized.

The scope of the issue highlights various aspects of theoretical physics, including superconductivity, magnetism, nanoelectronics; phase transitions in condensed matter physics and cosmology; theory of relativistic hydrogen atom; theory of nonlinear phenomena in physical and biological systems and other.
