Strain Engineering of Nanophotonic Devices

This Special Topic Collection features articles on strain engineering of nanophotonic materials and devices. Topics covered include but are not limited to materials theory, modeling and simulation of strain-induced changes in band structures, electrical, magnetic and optical properties, techniques to induce in-plane and/or out-of-plane deformations, strain engineering of bulk materials, strain engineering of 2D materials, straintronics, material and device processing and characterization, quantum emitters, and sensors.
