Proceedings of the International Congress of Applications of Lasers & Electro-Optics (ICALEO 2019)

This special collection of Journal of Laser Applications (JLA) comprises papers presented at the International Congress on Applications of Lasers and Electro-Optics (ICALEO^®). Organized by the Laser Institute of America (LIA) every year since 1982, ICALEO is one of the most important events for laser applications in materials processing. ICALEO features three conferences: Laser Materials Processing, Laser Microprocessing, and Nanomanufacturing including biomedical applications. This special issue of JLA contains a great selection of high-quality papers indicating the broad spectrum of topics covered by ICALEO 2019 in Orlando, FL.
