Recurrence Quantification Analysis for Understanding Complex Systems
This Focus Issue celebrates the 30th anniversary of recurrence plots which are simple graphical tools used to visualize the basic, dynamical characteristics of time series. The articles below address both fundamental aspects of recurrence plots as well as their applications to research in social media phenomena, corrosion processes, medicine and geology.
