Nonlinear Dynamics of Non-equilibrium Complex Systems

Non-equilibrium statistical mechanics and nonlinear physics are disciplines which aim to understand how the relationships between various components of a system give rise to its collective behaviors and how the system interacts and forms relationships with its environment. Articles in this Focus Issue discuss the applications of this research to fields such as biology, economics, physics, chemistry, neuroscience, materials science.
