Fluids Meet Solids
In this special issue, we focus on phenomena whose understanding requires consideration of both the solid and fluid phase. This comprises problems in which one needs to study both phases concomitantly (as in phase equilibria, including the calculation of solubilities), or problems that focus on the structure, thermodynamics or kinetics of fluid-solid interfaces. For this special issue, papers from experiment, simulation, or theory in which one needs to consider the two phases are welcome.
