Festschrift for Professor Hsueh-Chia Chang
In this special issue we celebrate Professor Hsueh-Chia Chang's 12 years of service as the Founding Editor of Biomicrofluidics and his retirement as Editor of the journal. The invited contributions partly reflect his research achievements in the design and application of new molecular sensing and analysis technologies, based on AC and non-equilibrium electrokinetics at the nanoscale. They also include the flavor of research papers he attracted to the journal — including dielectrophoresis and those describing fundamental physicochemical mechanisms associated with microfluidic, nanofluidic, and molecular/cellular biophysical techniques for diagnostic, medical, biological, pharmaceutical, environmental, and chemical applications.
