Special Topic Collection: In Focus on 35 Years of NESAC/Bio

This Biointerphases In Focus issue celebrates 35 years of the National ESCA and Surface Analysis Center for Biomedical Problems (NESAC/Bio) and the advances in biomedical surface analysis that have been made during that time. These advances have allowed the complexity of the samples analyzed to continually expand over the past 35 years from spectroscopic characterization of homogeneous surfaces to 2D imaging of patterned surfaces to 3D imaging of complex biological materials.
