In Memory of Professor Nanquan Lou on the occasion of his 100th anniversary

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Prof. Lou's birth, Chinese Journal of Chemical Physics arranged two special issues to pay the great respect to Prof. Lou and to celebrate his outstanding academic achievements. Prof. Nanquan Lou was very active in the study of surface catalysis, chemical lasers, chemical dynamics, and femtochemistry. Prof. Lou was also the inaugural editor-in-chief of Chinese Journal of Chemical Physics. He made great contributions to the development of the field of chemical physics in China.
